Brunswick Clock in Progress, Phase 2

Repairs done, gilding on surfaces requiring it, touch-ups to other areas. Final steps remaining are toning various areas to match old work..

The clock is once again raised up on gilded and burnished ball feet.

This beaded fringe now has a full complement of ornaments. These should shimmer nicely with the movement of the pendulum

Since no reference source could be found for this clock, the intended appearance of the birds' wings is not known. The areas where they would have been has been gessoed and lightly incised to indicate feathers. If a reference is found later, a skilled carver could reproduce them.
