Italian Plaster Portrait Placque: As delivered

View work in progress and completed

Item Description: Painted plaster plaque, oval portrait with integral frame. Has labels from a Connecticut gallery, as well as for Borghese, an Italian manufacturer. One of a pair, these were probably decorative items, not commissioned portraits.

This item apparently fell from wall and had breaks/missing pieces. In addition, there were attempts to re-attach some pieces, but they were not aligned properly. The lower left corner also had been repaired at one time, but this repair is very presentable and will not need to be redone.
